On Sunday the 28th October, we plan to hold an event at Wollongong University (Hope Theatre, 7PM) which will allow people to explore Jesus further. This is a free event and Simon Manchester will be speaking.

Ray Galea

Ray Galea will be coming to Wollongong on 14-15 September to speak at two events. Details below. Online Rego here.

Ray is a well known speaker and author, having written God is Enough and Nothing in My Hand I Bring. Ray loves his wife, Sandy, his three adult children, eating Middle Eastern food, listening to Bob Dylan, and watching films set in New York. Ray serves as senior minister at St Alban’s Multicultural Bible Ministry in Rooty Hill, Sydney, but years ago, he worked as a social worker in Wollongong.

The G4G women’s committee would like to invite you to their annual bible teaching day (if you are a woman). Jenny Salt will be speaking on 1 Peter “A foot in two worlds”. The event includes morning tea and lunch, and will be held at the University of Wollongong.

Con Campbell is coming to speak at Wollongong University on the topic of Jesus’ resurrection, and how it shatters world views. His presentation (from 1 Corinthians 15) will aim to be both apologetic and evangelistic. No charge, everyone welcome!

Con Campbell is an author and lecturer in Greek and New Testament at Moore College, a well regarded Australian jazz saxophonist, and is married to Bronwyn with three children.

The event will be held in the McKinnon Building at the University of Wollongong, from 2:30-4:30. A children’s program and afternoon tea will be provided. G4G challenge day // university of wollongong

As Christians we are called to two extremes. To love God’s world and to hate it’s rebellion. How do we reconcile these extremes? How should we live? Come and spend a Saturday morning thinking/talking to others about it – about how we can live for the Gospel.

There will be time to speak with someone in Gospel ministry about your options and plans for the future. If you are thinking about how you can be involved in bringing the Gospel to the world, then you should join us.
